01

Scope of service

OnDev provides digital services aimed at improving the online presence of businesses, startups and companies.

Our services may include:

  • Website design and development
  • Landing pages
  • Corporate websites
  • Redesign of existing sites
  • Technical and visual website audits
  • Domain and hosting setup
  • Basic search engine optimization
  • Direct contact buttons
  • Google Maps integration
  • Contact forms
  • Monthly support and maintenance
  • Additional features depending on the package

The exact scope of each project depends on the package selected or the proposal sent to the client.

02

Domain and hosting

With the Standard, Advanced and Advanced+ packages, a custom domain may be included for the first year, depending on the offer or proposal contracted.

With the Starter package, the site may be hosted on a platform provided by OnDev — a good fit for businesses that want to get started quickly and affordably.

After the first year, domain renewal is the client's responsibility. OnDev can assist with the renewal, configuration or management process on request.

Web hosting is included for as long as the client keeps an active monthly plan with OnDev, unless otherwise agreed in the proposal.

03

Minimum term

Monthly plans carry a minimum term of 8 months, because the service covers design, development, launch, initial configuration, support and maintenance.

Once the minimum term is met, the client may cancel the service by giving OnDev prior notice.

If the client wishes to cancel before the minimum term is met, an early termination fee may apply, covering the design, development and implementation work completed to date.

The early termination fee depends on the package contracted and will be stated in the proposal or commercial agreement.

04

Website ownership

The website built for the client may be delivered once the following conditions are met:

  • The agreed minimum term has been completed
  • The account is current on all payments
  • There are no outstanding balances for additional features, renewals, domains, integrations or extra services

While the monthly plan is active, OnDev manages hosting, technical support, maintenance and minor updates to the site.

If the client cancels after completing the minimum term, they may request delivery of the corresponding site files. Depending on the project type, delivery may include:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and image files
  • Static site files
  • Visual and written content loaded on the site
  • Basic guidance for migration or publishing

It does not include licenses, tools, third-party accounts, premium plugins, external services, commercial templates or credentials belonging to OnDev or to outside providers, unless agreed in advance.

05

Changes included in the monthly plan

Monthly plans include small changes, as long as they fall within the contracted scope. Small changes are:

  • Updating copy
  • Swapping images
  • Changing business hours
  • Changing the contact number
  • Updating links
  • Adjusting contact details
  • Fixing minor errors
  • Changing buttons or calls to action
  • Adding or removing simple information

Each package includes a maximum number of small changes per month:

PackageSmall changes included
Digital PresenceUp to 2 changes per month
Professional WebsiteUp to 4 changes per month
Commercial WebsiteUp to 6 changes per month
Custom SoftwareAs agreed

Unused changes do not roll over to the following month.

06

Changes quoted separately

Some changes require additional work and are quoted separately. Large changes are:

  • Building a complete new section
  • Creating new internal pages
  • Fully redesigning a page
  • Adding a booking system
  • Adding a shopping cart
  • Adding inventory
  • Integrating payment gateways
  • Building an admin panel
  • Connecting databases
  • Building automations
  • Translating the entire site
  • Writing extensive new content
  • Designing logos, graphics or brand identity
  • Structural changes outside the original scope

Before carrying out any additional work, OnDev will inform the client of the cost and estimated timeline.

07

Revision rounds during development

Every project includes up to 2 rounds of revisions before final publication.

A revision round is a single batch of comments or requests sent by the client about the visual or functional concept presented.

Beyond the included rounds, further revisions may be quoted separately. This keeps the process orderly and prevents open-ended changes from derailing the timeline.

08

Delivery times

Delivery times depend on the project type, its complexity, and how quickly the client provides the required information.

ServiceEstimated time
Basic landing page5 to 10 business days
Standard website10 to 20 business days
Website redesign7 to 20 business days
Advanced websiteBased on scope
Custom softwareBased on proposal

The clock starts once the client provides the required information: copy, images, logos, contact details, colors, references and any access needed.

Timelines may shift if the client requests additional changes, delays sending information, or asks for features not originally contemplated.

09

What the client provides

To build the project, the client should provide, clearly and promptly:

  • Business name
  • Logo, if available
  • Colors or visual references
  • Copy or service information
  • Photos or images
  • Business hours
  • Address or service area
  • Phone number
  • Contact emails
  • Social media accounts
  • Any required access
  • Existing domain or hosting details

The client is responsible for ensuring that all images, copy, logos and materials provided are their own or that they hold the rights to use them.

OnDev is not responsible for claims relating to material supplied by the client without authorization.

10

Payments and billing

The client makes payments according to the package or proposal agreed.

On monthly plans, payment is due on the date agreed between OnDev and the client.

If the client requests additional services, those are quoted separately and must be approved before work begins.

Payments made for design, development, domain, hosting, audits, redesigns or custom services are non-refundable once work has started.

11

Suspension for non-payment

If the client does not pay on the agreed date, OnDev may issue a notice of the overdue balance.

If payment is not brought current within the stated period, the site or associated services may be temporarily suspended. A suspension may affect:

  • Site availability
  • Technical support
  • Monthly changes
  • Maintenance
  • Hosting management
  • Connected services

Once the account is brought current, OnDev may reactivate the service. If a suspension runs for an extended period, reactivation or recovery fees may apply.

12

Cancellation

The client may cancel the service after completing the agreed minimum term. To cancel, they must notify OnDev at least 15 days before the next billing cycle.

Before the cancellation is finalized, the following are reviewed:

  • Payment status
  • Minimum term
  • Outstanding services
  • Domain and hosting
  • File delivery request
  • Additional features contracted

If the client wants to keep the site outside OnDev, they may request delivery of the corresponding files, provided the conditions set out in these policies are met.

13

Website audits

A website audit reviews the technical, visual and commercial state of an existing site. It may include:

  • Design review
  • Mobile review
  • Speed review
  • Basic SEO review
  • Structure review
  • Contact button review
  • User experience review
  • Visual credibility review
  • Improvement recommendations
  • Suggested action plan

The audit does not include carrying out the changes, unless the client contracts an additional redesign or development service.

If the client goes on to contract a redesign or a new site with OnDev, the value of the audit may be credited toward the project, if agreed in advance.

14

Website redesigns

A redesign improves the appearance, structure, layout and presentation of an existing site. It may include:

  • Improved color palette
  • Improved typography
  • Reorganized sections
  • Improved buttons
  • Mobile visual optimization
  • Image replacement
  • Stronger calls to action
  • Redesign of existing sections

Redesigns follow the client's style, the references provided, and OnDev's professional judgment.

Every redesign includes up to 2 rounds of revisions. Additional changes or new features are quoted separately.

15

Support and maintenance

Monthly support covers help with the correct operation of the site and the small changes included in the plan. Support may include:

  • Reviewing minor errors
  • Updating information
  • Small adjustments
  • Checking links
  • Basic help on how the site works
  • Guidance on domain or hosting, per the package

Support does not include:

  • Extensive training
  • Social media management
  • Paid advertising
  • Ongoing content creation
  • Monthly graphic design not contracted
  • Campaign management
  • New features
  • Support for external tools not managed by OnDev
16

Third-party services

Some sites use external services such as:

  • Google Maps
  • Messaging platforms
  • Google Business Profile
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • External form services
  • Hosting platforms
  • Payment gateways
  • Plugins or integrations

OnDev can configure or integrate these services, but does not control changes, outages, restrictions, pricing or policies set by third parties.

If an outside provider changes its terms, has an outage or discontinues a service, OnDev can help evaluate alternatives but is not responsible for interruptions outside its control.

17

Portfolio use

OnDev may ask the client for permission to feature the project in its portfolio, social media, website or marketing material. This may include:

  • Business name
  • Logo
  • Screenshots of the site
  • Public link
  • General project description

If the client prefers that their project not be shown publicly, they can say so in writing.

18

Confidentiality

OnDev commits to handling responsibly any information the client provides during the project.

Confidential client information will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary to deliver the service or where prior authorization exists.

The client likewise agrees not to share OnDev's access credentials, internal files, templates, methodologies or proprietary resources without authorization.

19

Personal data

When a site includes contact forms, messaging buttons, email capture or any other information-collection tool, the data submitted by visitors must be handled responsibly.

Data protection requirements vary by state and by industry, so we recommend that every site collecting user information publish a privacy policy appropriate to where the business and its customers are located.

OnDev can help the client include basic privacy text, consent notices or informational disclosures, but final responsibility for the treatment of customer or user data rests with the business owner.

20

Limitation of liability

OnDev works to deliver functional, professional websites adapted to each client's needs. That said, OnDev does not guarantee specific outcomes such as:

  • First position on Google
  • An immediate increase in sales
  • A specific number of customers
  • Exact campaign results
  • Specific commercial performance

How a website performs depends on many factors: the offer itself, location, pricing, customer service, reputation, competition, traffic, advertising and overall commercial strategy.

21

Acceptance of these policies

By contracting a service with OnDev, the client accepts these policies and the specific terms set out in the corresponding proposal, quote, contract or agreement.

Any special condition must be put in writing before the project begins.

OnDev may update these policies when necessary. The version in force is the one published on the official website.

By contracting our services you accept the terms described in these policies. Our goal is to work in a clear, orderly and professional way so your business has a digital presence that is functional, modern and properly managed.
